Why telling communities to tackle obesity backfires!

............  the idea that an outside professional can walk into a community and tell them that they should do something about obesity, or anything else for that matter is both an extremely arrogant and potentially very dangerous one.

The Art of Faithful Presence -
Innovation & Stability for the 21st Century

All across the nation Christian communities are finding new ways to connect with their neighbourhood. The New Parish Conference draws together practitioners, their stories and their practices. Together we desire to discover what God is up to in this emerging grass roots movement.

This year our 2016 Conference will be looking at 'The Art of Faithful Presence' - how to impact your neighbourhood in an innovative way that creates stability for all.

We are delighted that Shane Claiborne will be joining us. Shane is a Red Letter Christian and a founding partner of The Simple Way community, a radical faith community that lives among and serves the homeless in the Kensington neighbourhood of Philadelphia.

We are also excited to be welcoming Imandeep Kaur, co-founder of the Impact Hub in Birmingham, and The Ven Simon Heathfield, the Archdeacon of Aston.

Plus many many more!

We are yet to launch our news on our 2016 conference, but as a previous attendee of NPC (Inhabit), we would like to offer you a special Pre-Launch ticket price.

For the rest of this month, you can buy your ticket for £50* instead of £75 - but hurry, this deal will end on 31st March!
